Description
Multnomah County is seeking multiple contractors to provide on-call design, fabrication, and installation of cabinetry, casework, millwork, finish carpentry, and countertops on an as-needed basis. Work includes field measurement, plan and blueprint review, layouts, cost and material estimates, site preparation, removal and disposal of existing cabinetry and countertops, delivery coordination, installation, and protection of adjacent finishes. Cabinetry must generally use specified plywood construction and comply with County standards for frameless flush-overlay cabinets, hardware, shelving, refacing, and wet environments. Countertops may include solid surface, plastic laminate, and quartz/composite materials with specified thicknesses, edges, sinks, splashes, and substrates. Contractors must comply with applicable prevailing-wage requirements, Oregon Construction Contractors Board registration, sustainability requirements, safety requirements, and a one-year warranty for materials and workmanship. Pricing is based on hourly rates, material markup, and a minimum call-out charge; multiple contracts may be awarded.
