Description
The California Department of Water Resources is soliciting bids for on-demand Wilderness First Aid, Stream Safety, and River Safety Certification Training. Services include one-, two-, and three-day wilderness first aid courses; one-day stream safety training; and two- or three-day river safety certification courses. Training must include hands-on practice and real-world or in-water scenarios, CPR/AED instruction where specified, course materials and training aids, certifications or completion cards, and instruction consistent with applicable American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Wilderness Medical Society guidelines. The anticipated agreement term is three years, with no guarantee of work. The contractor must be able to train up to 36 students per class, maintain specified instructor-to-student ratios, provide qualified and appropriately certified instructors, and support estimated annual course volumes. Bids are evaluated based on the lowest responsible bid meeting the specifications.
