Description
The Borough of New Providence is soliciting proposals from qualified providers to deliver basketball instruction for children in grades K–8, ages 5–14. The scope includes fundamental clinics covering dribbling, passing, shooting, and scrimmaging, as well as half-day or full-day basketball camps offered during summer and school breaks. Programs may be scheduled on weekdays or weekends throughout the year. Respondents must demonstrate at least three years of experience providing youth basketball skills classes and camps in recreation or school settings. Proposals must describe the respondent’s experience, understanding of the Borough’s needs, assigned personnel and qualifications, similar engagements from the past five years with references, pricing by hour for fundamental clinics and basketball camps for 2027–2029, and compliance with the Borough’s administrative, disclosure, insurance, licensing, and health and safety requirements. The selected provider will be responsible for injury notifications and same-day accident reports and must follow applicable cleaning and sanitizing requirements.
