Description
The City of Avondale Parks, Recreation, and Libraries Department is seeking potential contractors to propose and deliver recreational classes, programs, and workshops for community members of various ages and interests. Contractors are responsible for developing program proposals, providing qualified instructors, managing classes, supplying personnel and materials, maintaining attendance, supporting marketing and participant communications, and complying with facility, safety, accessibility, and program-management requirements. Applicants must complete the instructor application and submit a separate program proposal for each proposed class or program. Requirements include professional references, work and instructor experience, current CPR/First Aid certification, a signed W-9, applicable food-handler certification, background checks and annual fingerprinting for instructors, and proof of required insurance. Selected contractors will execute the Program Instructor Services Agreement; compensation is based on program revenue, with the contractor receiving 70% and the City retaining 30%.
