Description
The City of Pittsburg is soliciting sealed bids for Project 5130, Terry Court Sewer Repair. The work includes abandoning the existing sanitary sewer main within the easement between 960 and 966 Terry Court; constructing a new sanitary sewer main along Terry Court to connect to the existing system at St. Moritz Drive; replacing a portion of the existing sewer main on St. Moritz Drive; and constructing new manholes, rodding inlets, cleanouts, and sewer lateral reconnections. The scope also includes utility potholing and field verification, trench excavation and backfill, pavement and private-property restoration, temporary sewer bypass and maintenance of existing sewer service, traffic control, water-pollution control, testing, surveying, and as-built documentation. The estimated construction cost is $500,000. The prime contractor must hold a California Class A General Engineering or Class C-34 Pipeline Contractor license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. The project must be completed within 70 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed; the anticipated start date of December 7, 2026, is expressly nonbinding. A 10 percent bid security and 100 percent payment and performance bonds are required.
