Description
The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District is seeking a contractor to support the annual Spare The Air campaign, which operates from May through October. The scope includes campaign strategy and implementation; advertising production, planning, and placement; public relations; social and online media; collateral materials; surveys; community and multicultural outreach; and media relations. The contractor will also maintain two program websites, integrate and monitor real-time air-quality data, support accessible public displays, operate email and SMS notification systems, perform routine WordPress and system maintenance, and maintain operating documentation. The proposal must include a narrative response addressing qualifications, understanding of the District’s requirements, work plan and transition approach, staffing, subcontractors, rates, District resources, and three recent references, along with three campaign examples. Required attachments are the Caltrans LAPM Exhibit 9-L Bidder’s/Proposer’s List, Assurance and Certification Form, Declaration of Campaign Contributions Form, and Debarment and Licensing Form. The anticipated contract is 36 months with two optional one-year extensions; the sample contract identifies a maximum amount of $1,433,208 for the initial three-year term and up to $477,736 for each extension year.
