Description
The City of Yuba City is seeking expressions of interest from qualified firms, investors, operators, developers, development teams, master developers, and other prospective partners for one or more catalytic mixed-use development opportunities. Potential scopes include retail, restaurants, entertainment, hospitality, innovation and office uses, multifamily and residential development, district infrastructure, parking, public realm, open space, and strategic development partnerships across multiple districts or phases. The three identified opportunities include a former approximately 13-acre retail site along Highway 99, an adaptive-reuse community hub involving warehouse sheds, and a largely vacant county- and state-owned complex near downtown with more than 55,000 square feet of buildings. Respondents must describe their interest and proposed role, relevant experience, proposed business or transaction structure, financial and investment capacity, access to capital, development approach, and anticipated partners. The RFI is nonbinding and may lead to further discussions, interviews, due diligence, negotiations, or a subsequent procurement, but does not guarantee selection or an award.
