Description
The City of Coalinga seeks a qualified, licensed real estate broker or firm to provide non-exclusive, on-call brokerage and advisory services for City-related real property transactions. The scope may include selling and marketing City-owned residential, commercial, industrial, vacant, and other property; identifying and acquiring property; leasing assistance; market analyses and comparable-sales information; marketing strategies and materials; property showings; offer and negotiation coordination; due diligence; and transaction coordination through closing. The selected firm will provide expertise regarding the Coalinga and regional market and coordinate with City staff, attorneys, title and escrow companies, appraisers, surveyors, environmental consultants, and other professionals. The initial agreement term is two years, with possible extension by mutual agreement; selection does not guarantee any minimum number or dollar amount of transactions. Proposals must address qualifications, licensing, relevant experience, local market knowledge, marketing approach, proposed commissions or fees, references, conflicts of interest, and other relevant information.
