Description
Mason County is seeking a contractor to provide professional real estate services, including marketing and offering current County surplus properties for sale and providing additional related services as needed. The proposal must include the proposed financial arrangement, a property marketing and sales strategy, an implementation narrative, recommended program requirements, contractor needs, assigned personnel and responsibilities, conflict-of-interest disclosure, and acknowledgment that personnel may be required to pass criminal background checks to access County buildings. The contract is expected to cover January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with an option for the County to extend it for an additional two years. Selection criteria are compensation to the County (50%), the marketing plan (25%), and contractor experience and knowledge of the local real estate market (25%). The selected contractor must meet specified commercial general liability, workers’ compensation, business auto, excess or umbrella liability, and errors and omissions insurance requirements. Attachment A, acknowledging insurance, licensing, and registration conditions, must be submitted with the proposal.
