Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting quotations for a firm-fixed-price dockside availability for USCGC Harriet Lane (WMEC-270A), with performance scheduled from March 1 through March 30, 2027. The scope includes aviation-system load testing and calibration; anemometer removal, inspection, and reinstallation; helicopter landing-grid inspection, nondestructive examination, preservation, reassembly, and pull testing; flight-deck preservation and markings; hangar seal and plating repairs; interior deck-covering renewal; aviation-fuel tank cleaning, inspection, ultrasonic-thickness and pit measurements; optional tank preservation; hull plating and flight-deck line-up-light renewal; welding, testing, reporting, environmental controls, and related ship-repair support. The quotation must include a signed cover letter, a technical capability submission, experience submission, past-performance submission, and completed price schedule. Technical submissions must address planning, quality control, coating preservation, qualified technical representatives, subcontract management, fuel-system cleaning and flushing, and welding documentation. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and requires ship-repairer's liability and comprehensive general liability insurance of $500,000 per occurrence, plus applicable longshore and workers' compensation coverage.
