Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking capability statements for an anticipated FY2027 drydock availability involving USCGC Hatchet (WLIC 75309) and USCG 68B Barge (68019). The requirement includes approximately 88 work items covering drydocking, hull and structural steel repairs, underwater and freeboard preservation, tank cleaning and preservation, propulsion shaft and rudder work, exhaust and piping cleaning, equipment overhaul, deck and machinery repairs, hazardous-material abatement, temporary services, sea-trial support, tenting, and independent NACE Level 3 coating inspection. The anticipated period of performance is March 9, 2027, through May 19, 2027, for 70 days, with work performed at the contractor’s facilities. Responses are for market research only and must include company information, point of contact details, applicable business size and certification information, a statement of capability and intent to submit as a prime contractor, and relevant past-performance information. No solicitation for proposals or quotations currently exists.
