Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing an Invitation for Bid for the construction of one new self-propelled inland river and intracoastal towboat to serve its Memphis District. The vessel must have a molded length overall of 100 feet, a molded beam of 35 feet, and a molded hull depth amidships of 12 feet. The acquisition is set aside for small business concerns and uses NAICS 336611, Ship Building and Repairing. Award will be made to the lowest-priced bidder determined to be responsive and responsible. Liquidated damages will apply, and bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonding are required. Bids must not contain classified data or hyperlinks and must be submitted exclusively through the PIEE Solicitation Module; email, mail, hand delivery, facsimile, and other transmission methods will not be accepted.
