Description
The U.S. Navy requires commercial services to evaluate Land Mobile Radio communications dead spots in the Red Hill tunnel system and conduct a comprehensive health assessment of seven COMPROD BDA380-512 Bi-Directional Amplifiers and associated equipment. The contractor must provide personnel, materials, equipment, testing, and two-person staffing as needed during government-specified operating hours, which may include weekends and holidays. Deliverables include a report identifying communication deficiencies and dead spots, recommended remediation solutions, estimated costs, and implementation timelines, plus a comprehensive report on the overall BDA system health. Contractor personnel must meet specified citizenship, background-investigation, physical-capability, safety, nondisclosure, and base-access requirements; maintain a Quality Control Plan; and provide all required personal protective equipment. All work must be completed within 60 days of the contract effective date. The procurement is a firm-fixed-price purchase order evaluated on price, technical capability, and past performance.
