Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor for unplanned drydock repairs and related services for the USCGC SPAR (WLB-225B). The scope includes OD box inspection and repair; controllable-pitch-propeller system and hub maintenance; propeller-blade removal, installation, seal renewal, polishing, and nondestructive inspection; propulsion shaft-seal overhaul and inflatable-seal renewal; drydocking and undocking; temporary services; towing; and sea-trial support. The contractor must provide an accessible navigable-waterway facility meeting specified depth and clearance requirements, qualified technical representatives, welding certifications and procedures, drydock or travel-lift/cradle certifications, AMPP/NACE Level 3 or QP-1 certification, a preliminary planning document, fire-safety plans, proof of insurance, JCP certification, and other required documentation. Performance is scheduled from September 28, 2026, through October 28, 2026. The Government intends to make one firm-fixed-price award using a lowest-price-technically-acceptable evaluation, with technical capability, price, and past performance evaluated.
