Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting firm-fixed-price services to provide quarterly preventive maintenance and repair for 66 electric and pneumatic sewing machines of various manufacturers and models. The contractor must provide the labor, personnel, tools, equipment, materials, supervision, oil, lubricants, and required replacement parts, including manufacturer OEM parts except springs. Work includes cleaning, lubrication, oil changes, adjustments, testing, repairs, and certification for each serviced unit; replaced parts and labor are included at no additional cost, and repairs outside the contract scope require prior approval. Services will be performed during normal first-shift hours, Monday through Friday, and must be provided by qualified personnel who comply with site safety, environmental, access, security, and U.S.-citizenship requirements. The contractor must submit a detailed technical approach addressing scheduled and unscheduled repairs, technician qualifications, quality control, and safety procedures. A completed and signed SF 1449 with pricing for all base and option CLINs is required. A current CMMC Level 1 self-assessment status is required before award and throughout performance. The contract includes a 12-month base period, three 12-month option periods, and a six-month option extension.
