Description
Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility is issuing a request for quote to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for a firm-fixed-price contract to repair Ships Service Turbine Generators No. 1 and No. 2 aboard a Virginia-Class submarine. The work includes disassembly, inspection, cleaning, repair, reassembly, in-place machining and grinding, static and dynamic tuning, micro-balancing, and qualified OEM technical assistance for catcher-bearing removal and reinstallation. The solicitation is available upon request only. Offers must follow the solicitation’s CLIN structure and instructions, and all amendments must be acknowledged. The notice states that a sources-sought notice received one response, which was deemed incapable of performing the requirement.
