Description
This combined synopsis/solicitation requests quotations for a 100% small-business-set-aside requirements contract with firm-fixed-price task orders for fiscal year 2027 second-quarter dockside repairs to the USCGC Midgett. The period of performance is explicitly stated as 2 February through 8 May 2027. Amendment 0001 replaced the price schedule and specification, and Amendment 0002 clarified that the replacement specification is the correct specification for this project. The scope includes structural steel and deck renewal; welding and nondestructive examination; tank cleaning, inspection, ultrasonic thickness measurement, and preservation; sewage-system modification, cleaning, and flushing; hydraulic piping replacement; exhaust piping and valve repairs; fire prevention; scaffolding and tenting; deck-covering renewal; crane, elevator, incinerator, and fire-detection-system inspection and testing; coatings and preservation; environmental and hazardous-waste controls; and technical representatives, inspectors, testing, quality-control documentation, and subcontractor coordination. Quotes must include separate price, technical-capability, and past-performance submissions, along with the specified forms, certifications, insurance evidence, subcontractor information, and signed solicitation documents.
