Description
This Sources Sought/Request for Information concerns drydock repairs and maintenance for the USCGC MANTA (WPB-87320). The contractor would provide the facilities, materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to perform the work at the contractor’s facility. The listed scope includes hull plating inspections and ultrasonic testing; underwater-body, hull, superstructure, mast, and other surface preservation; tank and piping cleaning and inspection; main-engine maintenance and alignment; renewal of propulsion bearings, shafts, propellers, rudder assemblies, windows, sewage components, and other vessel systems; electrical, HVAC, ventilation, intrusion-detection, and distribution-system modifications; drydock services; temporary services; and sea-trial support. The anticipated period of performance is 91 calendar days, from April 27, 2027, through July 27, 2027, subject to change. Respondents must provide company and point-of-contact information, business size and any claimed socioeconomic certification documentation, a statement describing how the work would be performed and confirming willingness to submit a future proposal as a prime contractor, and relevant past-performance information.
