Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price requirements contract for bread products delivered to the Salisbury and Fayetteville VA Medical Centers in North Carolina. Required products include white bread, whole-wheat bread, and fresh whole-wheat hamburger buns, with specified package sizes, slice counts, nutritional characteristics, and packaging quantities. Deliveries are required twice weekly on nonconsecutive days during the applicable delivery windows. Salisbury deliveries must be made to Building 5's loading dock between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; Fayetteville deliveries must be made to the Nutrition and Food Services Building, Building 3, second floor, Room 209, between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The contract includes a base year and four option years, with monthly invoicing in arrears. Price is the sole evaluation factor, subject to funding availability and price reasonableness.
