Description
Santa Maria-Bonita School District is requesting quotes for three new VC44GD Series double-deck natural gas convection ovens with solid-state controls and 100,000 BTU ratings—one for each of three elementary schools. Quotes must include required accessories, including flexible gas hoses with quick disconnects and gas-restraining devices, as well as pricing for optional casters and simultaneous chain-driven doors. The vendor must provide itemized pricing, estimated delivery timing, freight or handling charges, and vendor representative contact information. The scope includes delivery, white-glove placement inside each kitchen, uncrating and packaging removal, removal and transport of existing ovens to the district warehouse, and testing and operational verification after the district completes utility connections. Testing includes controls, burners, ignition systems, temperature settings, safety features, standard operating functions, and burn-off; the vendor must correct equipment-related deficiencies. Gas, electrical, plumbing, and other utility connections or modifications are excluded from the vendor’s scope. Delivery lead time may not exceed five weeks after purchase-order issuance. Alternate-model requests require technical specifications and warranty information to be submitted through the procurement platform’s Q&A tab by September 17, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
