Description
Loudoun County Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed bids for fresh bread and roll products, including whole-grain sandwich bread, hamburger rolls, hot dog rolls, and hoagie rolls. The awarded contractor must provide fresh, non-frozen products meeting USDA school meal, Buy American, nutrition, allergen, and packaging requirements; provide current Child Nutrition labels or Product Formulation Statements; and furnish products with at least seven days remaining before expiration. The scope includes weekly inside delivery to LCPS school sites, clean trays and rolling bread racks, delivery documentation, product replacement or credits for damaged or short-dated products, and an online ordering platform integrated with the LCPS LINQ system. Bids must be submitted electronically through the LCPS Electronic Bidding System, with pricing entered for the specified line items and required response attachments and attributes completed. The initial contract period is one year from award, with four one-year renewal options and a possible additional one-year extension.
