Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Philadelphia Operational Rations Program Office is conducting market research on commercial PolyTray bakery items used in breakfast and dinner menus for Unitized Group Ration—Heat & Serve and Unitized Group Ration—Express military meals. Required products include cakes, cookies, blueberry pastries, cinnamon rolls, muffins, mini loaves, and brownies, with a minimum shelf life of 36 months at 80°F. Respondents are asked to describe their company, business size, relevant commercial or government experience, production and packaging capabilities, ability to meet a 90-calendar-day delivery schedule, storage and delivery capabilities, and ability to support surge and sustained increased production. Deliveries would be made to DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation for proposals or a commitment to future contracting.
