Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is soliciting proposals from busker musicians to provide live, family-friendly acoustic background or ambient music in the post-security courtyard at San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport. Performances are typically scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with each performance lasting three hours. The airport will coordinate scheduling around musicians' availability, does not guarantee a minimum number of performances per month, and may cancel a performance up to 24 hours in advance for any reason. Proposers must provide a cover letter, artist profile and experience information, publicly accessible performance-media links, up to three references, and proposed performance fees through the Musical Performance Proposal Form. The form requests information about live-performance experience, musical style, typical venues, outdoor and background-performance experience, media samples, references, and fee structure. The opportunity also includes a designation of subcontractors form when applicable.
