Description
The Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County, New York, and participating school districts and political entities are soliciting bids for a broad catalog of musical instruments, audio equipment, percussion and orchestral instruments, instrument cases and stands, strings, reeds, mallets, music education materials, maintenance supplies, and related accessories. The bid includes numerous specified brands and models, permits approved equals in many cases, and includes sample requirements for certain listed instruments. The resulting arrangement is intended to establish pricing for blanket purchase agreements and purchase orders during the current school year. Prices are firm for six months, with potential annual extensions by mutual agreement for two additional one-year periods. Deliveries are generally required within 15 days after receipt of a purchase order, with inside delivery and freight terms governed by order value and destination. Bidders may respond electronically through the Nassau BOCES bid system or submit a sealed paper bid.
