Description
The City of Port Colborne is seeking one or two firms to provide entertainment and production services for two event components: the four-day Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival and the Summer Community Concert Series. Proponents may bid on either or both components, but must provide all required services within any component they pursue. The City may award the components separately, although it prefers to award both to one qualified proponent; proposals covering both components that meet the minimum technical threshold receive five additional evaluation points. Canal Days includes free outdoor concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park, along with a street festival featuring vendors, family activities, entertainment, food, and attractions. The Summer Community Concert Series consists of live music, including tribute performances, presented on six evenings throughout the summer.
