Weakley County Schools has developed a plan for the 2026-2027 school year to utilize Proposition 28 funding for arts and music education. The plan includes hiring additional music and art teachers, purchasing supplies and materials, and partnering with local arts organizations. The total allocation for Cinnamon Elementary is $81,392, with 80% of funding directed to staff salaries and benefits, and 20% for training, supplies, materials, and arts educational partnership programs. The district serves approximately 3,000 TK-8th grade students across 5 elementary schools and 1 middle school.
