Description
The Air Force Test Center is seeking a Catholic musician to support the 96th Test Wing Catholic Community at Eglin Air Force Base. The contractor must provide piano and/or organ accompaniment for Sunday Masses, Holy Day services, liturgies, special services, and weekly rehearsals; coordinate music with the Catholic Priest and Choir Director; assist with selecting music and equipment; set up and secure chapel facilities; and maintain the chapel and rehearsal areas in an orderly condition. The musician must be proficient in accompaniment, knowledgeable about Catholic worship music, able to learn new hymns, and able to work cooperatively with chapel personnel, choir members, and other faith groups. The contractor must be in good standing with a Catholic parish and submit a Letter of Sustainability from the parish with the quotation. A background check is required for work involving children, with the Base Chapel responsible for the cost. The contractor must personally perform the work or use an advance-approved substitute of equal or higher proficiency; any proposed subcontractor must be identified with the bid and meet the stated qualifications. The acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business set-aside and is structured as a firm-fixed-price base period from September 22, 2026, through September 21, 2027, followed by four 12-month option periods and a sixth-month option period from September 22, 2031, through September 21, 2032.
