Description
The Municipality of Penn Hills is soliciting a contractor to perform repairs and installations at the Gascola Equalization Facility. The scope includes concrete spall, crack, partial-depth, and full-depth repairs; selective concrete demolition; structural steel framing, beam, column-base, lintel, and stair-stringer repairs; steel cleaning and painting; metal handrail and guard relocation or installation; masonry tuckpointing, brick replacement and rebuilding, flashing, and facade repairs; roof and subsurface waterproofing; pipe and pipe-support replacement; French drain installation; electrical conduit relocation; excavations; grading; pavement, sidewalk, stair, and site restoration; and related incidental work. The project requires Pennsylvania prevailing wages, a 10 percent bid bond, performance and payment bonds each equal to 100 percent of the completed contract amount, and a one-year maintenance bond. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting to remain eligible, submit the bid electronically through PennBid, and provide the bid form, proposed subcontractor and supplier lists, non-collusion affidavit, bidder qualifications statement, Public Works Employment Verification Form, bid bond, required questionnaire, and pricing section.
