Description
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington is accepting applications for 2027 Local Share Account grant funding. Eligible projects include economic development, community improvement, public-interest, and job-training initiatives. Private companies and individuals must apply through an eligible sponsoring entity, and applicants must obtain governing-body authorization and project support. Applicants must submit the completed 2027 Checklist Form, 2027 LSA Application, 2027 Budget Form, documentation supporting the budget, and applicable matching-funds documentation and project-area maps. Sewer projects additionally require the Sources Form and Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection approval of the 537 Plan. Applications must be submitted as one hard copy by mail, express delivery, or hand delivery; electronic transmission is not accepted. Projects may not begin before September 1, 2027, or before execution of the applicable Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development contract.
