Description
Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is soliciting bids for a requirements contract covering water and sewer inventory materials. The scope includes sewer risers and lids, manhole and catch-basin castings, ductile iron pipe and fittings, transition couplings, gate and tapping valves, tapping sleeves, stainless steel repair clamps, PVC sewer pipe and fittings, brass fittings, fire hydrants, and related components. Materials must meet the specified ASTM, AWWA, ANSI, UL, NSF, and other applicable standards, with domestic steel and applicable U.S.-manufacture certifications required. The contract will use release orders, with quantities based on estimated needs and no guaranteed purchase volume. Bidders must provide pricing for each schedule item, identify manufacturers and part numbers, and may propose equal products with sufficient technical documentation. The selected vendor must meet experience, domestic-sourcing, and storage-yard requirements and generally deliver within seven calendar days after a release order. The agreement has a one-year initial term and may be extended for up to four additional one-year terms by written mutual agreement.
