Description
The City of Pittsburgh is soliciting bids for a one-time bulk purchase of new equipment to replace end-of-life components in the City Channel Pittsburgh production system. The requested equipment includes managed network switches, fiber-optic SFP connections, fiber card cages and modules, 3G HD-SDI transmitters and receivers, video distribution equipment, Biamp Tesira audio-processing components, an AJA routing switcher and control panel, OpenGear frames, SDI converters, rack hardware, a commercial UHD display and wall mount, and double-conversion uninterruptible power supplies. Used, refurbished, and gray-market equipment will not be accepted. The scope also includes equipment installation. Installation technicians must hold Certified Technology Specialist, Extron Authorized Programmer in Control Script, and Biamp Tesira Forte certifications. Pricing must include shipping and delivery, and the bid must include the required certifications, vendor forms, W-9, authorized-signatory information, and Equal Opportunity Review Commission participation documentation. The solicitation identifies a 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time submission deadline on October 26, 2026, with electronic submission required through the designated procurement portal.
