Description
Allegheny County is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of dishwashing equipment at the Allegheny County Jail Bureau of Corrections main kitchen and officers' dining room. The scope includes two tray washers, two tray dryers, and one single-tank rack conveyor dishwasher, with equivalent brands permitted if they meet the specifications. The work includes site surveying and design review; delivery; removal and disposal of existing equipment; electrical and plumbing connections; startup, testing, demonstration, and preventive-maintenance training; an extended 18-month manufacturer's parts-and-labor warranty; and ongoing technical support. The successful bidder must provide installation-related fittings and supplies, complete work during specified weekday hours, comply with facility orientation and clearance requirements, and support the County's MWDBE, veteran-owned small business, insurance, sustainability, and other contractual requirements.
