Description
STV Inc. is soliciting bids from PennDOT-prequalified contractors for inspection support services for the McArdle Bridge over Hillside project. The contractor must provide an under-bridge inspection vehicle (large snooper with at least a 60-foot horizontal reach and two rotating booms), traffic control, required traffic control materials and equipment, and related services necessary to support bridge inspection operations. The bid includes four days of large snooper service and four weekday days of traffic control. Traffic control must include a minimum crew of three individuals in addition to the snooper or boom-truck driver, and all crew members must be available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. unless otherwise directed. The contractor must identify the proposed snooper manufacturer and model, maintain equipment in accordance with applicable requirements, coordinate with necessary agencies, and demonstrate previous successful experience, equipment, and capability before award. Tentative service dates are November 16–19, 2026.
