Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a one-time service to remove and dispose of approximately 238 linear feet of failed hydronic radiant heating panels and install approved replacement panels at four entrances of the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, qualified personnel, and supervision; prepare existing locations, install panels at the existing lengths, pressure, and connection points, verify pressure and leak-free operation, test the system, restore full operation, and remove debris. The replacement radiators must be suitable for low, medium, and high pressure with a 74 PSIG working pressure, include mounting brackets, and have the specified NPT connections and expansion characteristics. Contractors must demonstrate prior experience removing, installing, starting up, and commissioning hydronic heating panels. The work is to be completed within 90 days of award, with a completion report for each space submitted in Microsoft Word format.
