The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting proposals from property owners for approximately 4,200 usable square feet of commercial retail/office space for an Armed Forces Career Center. The offered space must be within one-quarter mile of 896 Plaza Boulevard, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, include a secondary egress, and provide adequate parking for approximately 10 Government vehicles during the day and overnight. The lease must use the Government Lease form. Proposals must state the proposed rental amount, including common area maintenance, taxes, and insurance. The draft lease contemplates a lease term of up to five years and places responsibility on the lessor for applicable building systems, maintenance, utilities and services, accessibility, fire and life-safety compliance, HVAC, janitorial services where applicable, snow removal, and required build-out or alterations.
