Description
California Exposition & State Fair is seeking a contractor to provide press and community outreach management throughout the agreement term. The scope includes outreach and mitigation expertise, media and public-relations coordination, community-event representation, crisis communications, and related State Fair support. The contractor must provide 100% on-site coverage during the annual California State Fair, remain self-sufficient, and include any additional consultants in its proposed budget rather than seeking a separate contract. Emcee and voice-over services for sponsors and other Fair-related needs, including use of internal intercom systems and external events, are included in the required scope and must not be proposed as an additional expense. The agreement is scheduled to run from January 1, 2027, or contract approval, whichever is later, through December 31, 2029. SB/DVBE companies are encouraged to bid.
