Description
The City of Kingman is soliciting sealed bids for complete replacement of nine windows at the Powerhouse Visitors Center. The scope includes removal and disposal of existing windows and related construction materials; furnishing and installing Marvin wood casement picture and direct-glaze rectangle windows with factory-applied extruded aluminum exterior cladding; and installation in accordance with manufacturer requirements, including flashing, insulation, sealing, and weatherproofing. The pricing worksheet identifies nine minimum window items with specified rough-opening dimensions. The contractor must repair or replace disturbed interior and exterior finishes, paint exposed frames and repaired surfaces to match existing conditions, remove construction debris, ensure the windows operate properly, provide applicable manufacturer warranties, and deliver the items no later than January 31, 2027. Bidders must provide a minimum Arizona B-2 commercial contractor's license, references, required vendor forms and questionnaire responses, and any applicable subcontractor, materials, licensing, business-license, bond, or qualification documentation. The bid must include a 10 percent owner's contingency; the City may award fewer window items if the available budget is insufficient. Substitutions or alterations are not accepted, although equivalent brands may be considered under the stated conditions.
