Description
The City of Hamilton is selling its approximately 10.01-mile, 138 kV overhead Greenup Hydroelectric Plant Transmission Line, extending between the East Kentucky Power Cooperative Argentum Substation and American Electric Power ownership demarcation points. The sale includes the City's transferable rights, title, and interests in the line's conductors, overhead ground wires, structures, switch tower, foundations, insulators, grounding systems, guys, anchors, line hardware, easements, rights-of-way, access rights, licenses, permits, and crossing agreements. Substation and terminal equipment, including relaying, control, SCADA, metering, breakers, and other terminal-station equipment, is excluded unless expressly identified. Proposers must demonstrate relevant utility-infrastructure experience and financial capability, state a total purchase price and transaction terms, identify contingencies and exceptions, and submit the City's notarized Statement of Qualifications, a non-collusion affidavit, and a certified check, money order, or bank cashier's check equal to 10% of the bid as bid surety. The successful proposer must furnish a certificate of insurance after selection. The transmission line and associated assets are offered on an “as-is, where-is, with-all-faults” basis.
