Description
San Benito County is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish, field-verify, fabricate, stain, finish, and install a new approximately 2-inch-thick Monterey Cypress countertop along the Supervisors’ main dais and Clerk of the Board return area. The scope includes an approximately 75-inch return, metal support brackets, anchors, fasteners, blocking, hardware, cable and microphone penetrations with finished edge protection, and a durable clear protective finish. The countertop must fit the existing pony-wall and dais configuration, maintain access to electrical outlets, and complement the existing furniture and wood finishes. The contractor must coordinate with County staff, protect existing walls, flooring, furniture, equipment, wiring, microphones, monitors, and adjacent finishes, remove debris, clean the work area, and comply with applicable building, accessibility, safety, and other code requirements. Final dimensions and existing conditions must be field-verified before fabrication. Work is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, California Department of Industrial Relations registration, valid licensing, and required insurance coverage. Performance is scheduled for 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
