The Park District of Highland Park is soliciting proposals for improvements to the Centennial Ice Arena off-ice training room. Work includes removing room contents and gymnastics flooring, installing new ramps and repairing existing ramps, adding two electrical outlets, painting the entire room, removing a roll-up door, and installing block wall construction. The scope includes demolition, carpentry, masonry/block work, painting, and electrical work required by the contract documents. Demolition and construction are scheduled to begin October 1, 2026, and conclude October 19, 2026. HVAC work will be performed by others under a separate contract from October 21 through November 5, 2026. Painting is scheduled for November 6 through November 16, 2026. An optional, non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled at the project site on September 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.
