Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quotation for the Chicken Ranch Siding Replacement project at one residence. Work includes mobilization; demolition and disposal of existing siding, trim, windows, and doors; installation of moisture barrier/building wrap; prefinished fiber-cement horizontal lap siding and trim; fascia and fiber-cement soffit; four windows; two doors; interior trim; and painting of the porch roof underside and new trim. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies, verify field measurements, maintain daily enclosure of openings, provide portable toilets, and dispose of construction waste lawfully. The project is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated magnitude is between $25,000 and $125,000, although the public notice states $25,000 to $100,000. The anticipated period of performance is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with work required to be completed by June 30, 2027. Quotations will be evaluated on technical approach, price reasonableness, and past performance; the contractor must submit five relevant references completed within the preceding five years, or the five most recent contracts if no relevant contracts are available.
