Kiewit Infrastructure Co. is soliciting bids from qualified electrical subcontractors for the Aspen–Pitkin County Airport Airfield Electrical Early Work Package. The work is associated with runway and taxiway electrical systems and may include preconstruction services, constructability reviews, early material procurement, budgetary estimating, electrical demolition and salvage, runway and taxiway lighting, airfield signage, duct banks, conduit and handholes, power and control cabling, fiber optic and communications systems, grounding and counterpoise, regulators, vault work, weather/VSAS systems, wind cones, and related electrical work. Plans, specifications, and bidding information are available by contacting Kiewit Infrastructure Co. Bonding may be required, and Kiewit states that it may assist qualified firms with obtaining bonds, lines of credit, and insurance.
