Description
The Town of Grand Lake is soliciting bids for the Little Columbine Creek Restoration project under the Grand Lake Stormwater Plan. The work covers approximately 700 linear feet of Little Columbine Creek and a secondary channel and includes five beaver dam analogues, seven log vanes, channel grading, on-site earthwork, water control and dewatering, erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, log and slash placement, riparian seeding, trail and access-point restoration, shrub salvage and replanting, and red-line drawings. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals; source disease- and insect-free local logs and slash; prepare and maintain the stormwater management plan; obtain required stormwater and dewatering permits; and protect existing culverts, utilities, structures, vegetation, and survey monuments. This is a unit-price construction contract with a two-phase schedule beginning in fall 2026 and completing in 2027. Bidders must submit the specified bid forms, schedule, bid security, qualifications and references, subcontractor and supplier list, and notarized non-collusion affidavit.
