Description
The State of Colorado, through the Colorado Department of Transportation, is soliciting a documented quote for urgent traffic signal and infrastructure repairs at the intersection of US 36 and High in Estes Park. The work includes utility potholing; removal of existing signal equipment and caissons; drilling a new 36-inch caisson; installation of 2-inch and 3-inch plastic electrical conduit and pull boxes; concrete removal and replacement; electrical wiring; and resetting existing signal equipment and sign panels. The contractor must install CDOT-supplied traffic signal poles, mast arms, LED luminaires, intersection detection, pedestrian push buttons, and traffic signal and pedestrian signal faces. The scope also includes mobilization, traffic control, uniformed traffic control personnel, site safety, and project closeout. The quote must include pricing for all 22 schedule items, a work plan, traffic-handling and safety plan, mobilization and material-handling plan, relevant project references, project manager information, required Colorado electrical, IMSA, and traffic-control credentials, and applicable subcontractor information.
