Description
The City of Covina is soliciting sealed bids for the Wingate Park Regional EWMP Project, a public works construction project requiring all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work in accordance with the contract documents, permits, and applicable regulations. The engineer's estimate is approximately $20,000,000, and the successful bidder will have 548 calendar days to complete the work. Bidders must submit the City-furnished bid form, provide proof of current Department of Industrial Relations registration for the prime contractor and each subcontractor, hold a valid California Class A contractor's license, and comply with prevailing-wage, insurance, bonding, and warranty requirements. A bid bond or cashier's/certified check equal to at least 10% of the total bid is required; the successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to the contract price.
