Description
The City of Cortez is soliciting proposals for roof replacement at the Cortez Recreation Center Building. Work includes removing and disposing of damaged roofing; inspecting and replacing deteriorated roof-deck substrate; installing new coverboard, tapered insulation with a minimum R-30 equivalent, a fully adhered 60-mil TPO membrane or approved equivalent, coping cap metal, parapet caps, edge flashing, termination bars, and flashing; modifying roof-drain assemblies to restore positive drainage; replacing penetrations, boots, drains, and equipment flashings; and completing waterproofing, sealing, and final inspection. The proposal must include a 20-year no-dollar-limit manufacturer warranty. A mandatory meeting and project site visit is scheduled for October 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.; new bidders must attend to submit a bid, while vendors who attended the prior walkthrough are exempt. Proposals are due through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System portal by October 28, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
