Description

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation intends to competitively procure construction of the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project Cutter Lateral Reach 21 Booster Plant as a total small-business set-aside. The work includes a prefabricated concrete booster pump station with two vertical in-line pumps, electrical and control systems, piping, valves, security equipment, a gravity bypass, and SCADA/radio communications integration. The project also includes installation of a new 500,000-gallon welded-steel regulating tank at the Regulation Tank No. 3 site; foundations, yard piping, electrical equipment, tank disinfection, cathodic protection, erosion and scour controls, retaining walls, drainage, gravel surfacing, fencing, road work, demolition, and site restoration. The estimated project magnitude is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. The draft solicitation requires a 20-percent bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds for 100 percent of the contract price, and completion for operational use by May 22, 2028. The procurement is expected to use a sealed-bid, firm-fixed-price process, with award to the lowest-priced responsible and compliant bidder.
