Description
The Tarrant Regional Water District is soliciting proposals for installation of safety signage and rumble strips along the Clearfork section of the Trinity Trails in Fort Worth. The base work covers the Clear Fork area excluding Trinity Park; a separate option covers the trail section within Trinity Park between the W 7th Street bridge and the I-30 bridge. TRWD will provide the AASHTO safety signs, weld plates, powder-coated signposts, sign backers, and water-drop toppers. The contractor must provide labor and hardware to attach the signs, install the provided posts and concrete footings, and furnish labor and materials for rumble strips and related concrete demolition. The contractor must also provide trail-closure and reroute plans, user-safety and environmental-compliance measures, site-condition review, progress updates, and a detailed project schedule. The work must be completed by March 19, 2027. Proposals are evaluated on price, experience and references, project approach, and project schedule.
