Description
The City of Denton is seeking a qualified engineering or consulting firm to perform a citywide pavement condition assessment, asset inventory, and data analysis covering approximately 1,700 lane miles of roadways, more than 100 acres of parking lots, approximately 21 miles of bike lanes, 580 miles of sidewalks, and approximately 11,200 ADA ramps. The work includes pavement distress measurements, pavement condition and cracking indices, crossfall and grade, GPS-referenced data, right-of-way asset imagery, sidewalk condition assessment, ADA non-compliance surveying, exception reporting, and data aggregation into City-provided GIS segments. The selected firm must provide quality and project management plans, initial and final survey datasets, quality-control results, an exception report, a final written report with pavement management recommendations and probable repair costs, and access to a hosted data-viewer application. Proposals must demonstrate relevant municipal experience, quality-management capabilities, qualified personnel including a licensed professional engineer, three recent references, project approach, schedule, and communication plan. The contract is for one year with four optional one-year renewals and a possible additional extension of up to six months.
