Description
The City of Denton is seeking a contractor to perform electrical work and terminations at the plant Distributed Control System (DCS) to monitor field devices in the control room. The solicitation clarifies that no storage tanks are being supplied; the work concerns the electrical interface and control-system monitoring associated with the tanks. The scope includes installation and execution of the DCS and Human Machine Interface (HMI) system, associated equipment and services, delivery and installation scheduling, parts fulfillment, service support, inspection and quality control, compliance and safety measures, warranties, and related materials and components. Respondents must demonstrate at least three years of similar experience and provide three references with contact information, company and service details, and contract periods. Proposals must address company experience, scope of work, compliance and safety, installation plan and timeline, acquisition timeline, warranties, anticipated problems and proposed solutions, and an invoice example. The respondent must be the manufacturer or an authorized distributor and provide manufacturer authorization documentation. The contract begins upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed or purchase order and expires upon completion and acceptance of the work or materials.
